Final Reflection
1.
Overall,
I really enjoyed taking this class this semester. I have loved getting the
chance to brainstorm on an idea and experience what steps need to be taken in
order to create a business. The hardest parts of the semester were balancing
school, my internship and working on music here in Nashville. I found that some
days I would put off my assignments and even though I always got them done, I
definitely could have started them earlier to help reduce stress.
2.
My
most formative experience about this course was effectively brainstorming and
learning how to execute a plan. Even assignments such as the elevator pitches
were super helpful because they made me write out and think about important
information that I need to talk about in a short period of time. I really did
learn how to plan out a business.
3.
I
definitely do see myself as an entrepreneur after taking this class. It has
opened up my eyes to look at the world a little bit differently to see what
needs people want fulfilled and how I can create products or services to help
fix it.
4.
My
biggest recommendation would be to get your work done a few days before the due
date to reduce stress. I know I am not the only one who runs into this problem.
Also, watching the lectures is very important in order to do well on the
quizzes but they are also so fun to watch! I really did enjoy watching and
learning from the weekly lectures. They also really helped in making the assignments
easier to complete.
Hi! I can not agree with you more on the procrastination issue. I also faced pushing the assignments off to a later date which ultimately kept me from doing my best for some assignments. Also sounds crazy to have classes on top of an internship and your music, but I'm sure multitasking like this will be extremely beneficial as an entrepreneur in the future! Overall it was really well written and covered all the important concepts!
