Reflection: 
For my first elevator pitch I got pretty positive feedback! They liked the engaging situation of visualizing where a customer would be sitting on the couch with a blanket. I tried to discuss the issue a little more this time about wanting to have a comfortable temperature in the home. I also talked about price points so people can be aware of what the price of this product would be. I thought the feedback was useful and I did my best to incorporate some new ideas to help make the elevator pitch even better this time.

    Brooke,
    I loved the descriptive language you used. It truly helps put the audience in the position you want them in. You took the positive feedback from your last pitch and improved on it. Since you didn't receive much negative feedback it's awesome that you still found ways to make it better and more captivating. Using price points is definitely important and can help an investor better understand the financial side of the product.

    It’s great that you took the positive feedback from the previous assignment to elaborate the pitch and adjust to the feedback. You did a good job discussing the issue of wanting to be comfortable in greater depth. Providing a price point makes the buyer aware which is really good in order to receive more feedback and predict buyers.

    You do a great job on this video because you grab the audience's attention at the beginning by using a very relatable situation. Also, you do a good job of creating a more detailed elevator pitch by having a price and a name for your product. I like the new feature of being able to set the thermostat to a certain temperature when the customer leaves and readjusting to their comfortable temperature range when they get back home to save money.

Before I actually watched your elevator pitch I read your reflection to see what you think needed to be fixed, and I think you improved a lot in all the areas you were focusing on! Your elevator pitch was very clear and concise and I really feel like I have a full understanding of your product. I think you did a really good job of using a professional tone and posture and think this pitch would be successful used outside of this class! Overall you did really well!

What's Next

Existing Market.  I think that as the brand launches and we begin to evaluate the progress of the product, then changes will be made accordingly. If we want to create new features then that will be able to be added to the app for an easy solution. I talked to Matt who said he loves the idea because he already has a smart watch so it would be easy to use once the thermostat is installed. He thinks it is a unique idea and said that in the future we could consider adding features such as a speaking aspect like how people can ask Alexa to do things through a speaker. So a possibility could be adding a voice feature for people to tell the Arm Stat what to change the temperature to. I interviewed a girl named Kaitlyn and I told her about how I would love to get on Shark tank and she thought this would be a great way to gain exposure if I was accepted on the show. Buyer Behavior Pt. 2

I have focused my interviews on people who like to have the newest and most innovative technology. My first interviewee, Tim, told me when he is picking a product he does look at the quality and price. Since he is an engineer he likes to know he is buying a high quality product that is worth the price he is paying. My second interviewee, Carlie, said she cares a lot about the style of the product and the price. If she is going to be spending a higher amount of money on the product she wants to make sure it looks good and will catch attention. My third interviewee, Dominick, cares most about the quality and the price of the product. He does not want to finance a product but does like having new technology. The common alternative from all of my interviewees was price. They all would be willing to pay whatever price as long as it looked good or was good quality.
