Final Reflection

1.     Overall, I really enjoyed taking this class this semester. I have loved getting the chance to brainstorm on an idea and experience what steps need to be taken in order to create a business. The hardest parts of the semester were balancing school, my internship and working on music here in Nashville. I found that some days I would put off my assignments and even though I always got them done, I definitely could have started them earlier to help reduce stress. 2.     My most formative experience about this course was effectively brainstorming and learning how to execute a plan. Even assignments such as the elevator pitches were super helpful because they made me write out and think about important information that I need to talk about in a short period of time. Venture Concept #2

Venture Concept Opportunity The opportunity for my product is for anyone looking to improve the comfort of their homes by using an innovative way to control the air temperature. Many of my customers will most likely be middle to upper class and have some extra money to spend on my product. Apartment complexes will also be targeted as they have the power to install my product in all of the units in the building. The nature of the need will not be anything urgent but more so a luxury for my customers. The forces or changes in the environment that are creating the opportunity for my product is the ever changing nature of technology. The more technology advances and changes, the more people want the newest product. My market will be directed towards big apartment complexes and I will start in major cities in the southeast to try to get the most business at first.
